Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

As a passionate cookie lover, I can honestly say that these Double Chocolate Chip Cookies are heavenly and this recipe is one to add to your collection!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purposed flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:
  • Whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large bowl beat together the butter and sugar.
  • Add the egg and vanilla and continue mixing until well combined.
  • Slowly add the mixture of dry ingredients on low speed until well combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips (leaving a few to add to the tops of dough balls)
  • Cover bowl with cling wrap and refrigerate for roughly 2 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  • Take dough out of fridge, let sit for 10-15 minutes.
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper or baking mat.
  • Roll dough into balls (I use roughly 2 tablespoons of dough per ball)
  • Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheet for 3-5 minutes.
  • Transfer cookies to cooling rack.
  • Serve and enjoy!
* To change things up, consider using white chocolate chips or adding mini M&M's to the dough mixture!
