Life Lately: February 2016

I would like to start this post by saying I am one of the worlds worst bloggers.  In a dream world I would love to post every other day, but in reality I barely have time to catch my breath or sit down and relax for an hour or two. January was a crazy busy month, and February is ten times worse. I have been living by the saying 'so much to do, so little time'.  Because so much has been happening I thought I would spend a little time updating you on my life lately!

Birthday:  I celebrated my 22nd birthday on January 29 and I was fortunate to extend the celebration over multiple days. Fun fact, every year on my birthday there is snow, and this year there happened to be a lot, forcing me to stay in and celebrate the night before and days after. A special thank you goes out to my best friend Courtney who despite the awful weather tried to make my birthday a magical one!

Florida: I was blessed with the opportunity to spend my Spring Break in sunny Orlando, Florida with friends. While there I was able to visit the Disney Parks, Universal, Disney Springs, lay by the pool and feed my shopping addiction by stopping into a local Outlet in search of President Day sales.  Although I will be paying off this trip for awhile, it was well worth it and I treasure every moment and memory from it.

University: I'm not sure about you, but my university calls what most people would consider spring break, 'reading week.' Most people take advantage of the time off to travel or relax, much like I did in Florida. But all of that relaxation comes at a price. In hopes that we are taking that much needed break to study and gain control for the rest of the semester, most if not all Midterm examinations are scheduled the first few days back to classes. This means I have 3 exams to study for and write all within the first three days of being back in class, and let me tell you ... I certainly did not study while in Florida, there was simply to much to do and so much to see.

Blogging: I am going to be completely honest with you when I say that I am a little discouraged when it comes to blogging.  I have come to a point where I wanted to use my blog to help others, share ideas and make new and long lasting friendships with fellow bloggers but I feel as though no one is reading or even cares about my blog or what I post. I know this sounds a little dramatic but I wanted to be honest and share my true thoughts and feelings. I know I am not alone and I am sure many of you reading have gone through these same thoughts and feelings before, and with that being said ... I would love some advice or encouragement to help me get through this phase. Even a simple suggestion of some blog posts you would like to see would help a lot.

Love Life & Relationships: Still single, and probably always will be. Although I would love to find the right guy and be in a committed relationship, its hard to get out there and meet people when you have anxiety and are also socially awkward. Until I conquer a miracle, I would love to hear your love stories, the good, the bad, and the awkward!
