DIY Sharpie Mug Design

This popular DIY project is perfect for an inexpensive, easy and creative gift. Not only does this gift save you money but it also looks like you put a lot of thought, time and effort into it. I made my friends and family each a mug for Christmas and they loved them!

What you will need:
  • Mug
  • Sharpie (Permanent Marker)
  • Stickers
  • Baking Sheet
  • (All of my supplies were purchased at my local dollar store or found around the house)

Step One:

On a clean mug, place your chosen stickers onto the surface.

Step Two:

Take your sharpie marker and begin making small dots around the stickers.

Step Three:

Once you are happy with the amount of dots and the overall design of the mug, slowly and carefully pull the stickers off the mug.

Step Four:

Place your mugs onto a baking sheet. Bake mugs at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Please remember that these mugs are NOT dishwasher safe and should be hand washed only!
