I hate to say it, but the cold weather is fast approaching and what better way to warm up then a bowl of homemade chili. Delicious and super easy to make, this recipe will be sure to hit the spot!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Orange Bell Pepper
- 1 Yellow or White Onion
- 1 (28 oz) Can Diced Tomatoes
- 2 Cans Tomato Paste
- 1 (19 oz) Can Six Bean Blend (Chick Peas, Dark Red Kidney Beans, Black-eyed Peas, White Kidney Beans, Romano Beans, Baby Lima Beans)- Drained
- 1 (19 oz) Can Dark Red Kidney Beans - Drained
- 1 Package Chili Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Cook Ground beef, onions and bell peppers, then drain.
- In large Saucepan combine meat mixture, drained bean mix, tomatoes, and tomato paste.
- Sprinkle in packaged chili seasoning, and brown sugar.
- Simmer until warm.
- Serve with sour cream, cheese and for those who like a crunch, Nacho chips.
